perk mod bug ... but which one ?

HI,

I just appologise because my english is not good enough to write.

I'm modding fallout since 3 years, and I didn't have huge problems with mods but now, I don't understand from which one the conflict is comming. I used to use FOMM but I just changed for nexus mod manager. Of course I've got the archiveinvalidation, the GECK, NMM, NVSE loader, I've got the FNVEdie too but I don't know where have I to put the "Edit scripts" flooder.

Well, when I level up, I loock the perks and ... the game crashs.

Of course there are some mods, but when I'm starting FNVEdit, I've got an error message : "an error has occured while loading modules ...". I saw topics where people have to shows their FNVEdit messages, that's why I'm creating a new one.

I've got the ultimate version, do I need to update to 1.4.0.525 version ?

Can someone help me ?

You should definitely update, but if FNVEdit gives you that error, there should be more text to it. Example:

(I deliberately broke my LO to get that message; AngerScreenshot.esp needs poses.esp, but I moved poses.esp out of the data directory.)

I'm downloading the update. Thanks for help. In deed, there is the "message" I talked after FNVEdit's error. I didn't look in details but there are some things easy to fix (loader order ...).

I Think I should delete just some mods, not to have a too overloaded game, if there are conflicts, it's possible that small mods were integrated in big mods, which can create conflicts.

I fixed it just when I read it, there were other errors of the same type. But the mod(s ?) makes allways the game crash : just before I have the time to put my pointer to click on the "félicitations du jury", the lvl 12 perk who has been moded, but I don't find the mod, I desactivated all my perks mods, anyway the game crashs and I've no time to see what the perk is.
The perk name don't help me very much in the mod screach.
I know Br_traits and perks bugs, but it isn't activated the mod have been traduced (http://www.confrerie-des-traducteurs.fr/forum/index.php) but I don't find anything on the forum.
Just a question : I don't know really how to use FNVEdit and my files are in the right order in my NMM's LO. How to move it in FNVEdit ?

Edit : I solved the first bug problem : I had a traduction of project nevada who had perks bugs, but the game crashes again and the pip boy's screen become sometimes pink and game menu don't appear everytime.

The reason your menus disappear and the pip boy goes funny is because you have too many mods. The game wigs out after 140 odd plugins, it's a bug we ALL have :(

 

Your perk bug is likely now a save game problem as you had many mods running that were made for the 1.4 patch and now you've suddenly updated your save will be pretty much shot. Start a new game and if he problem persists go back to FNVedit and find all your perk and find out where it's conflicting or if you have the message "Error: Could not be resolved" meaning there is data missing and you need to either delete that data or reinstall the mod. Those errors are the most common cause of CTDs and derive from unclean edits and/or missing masters when made, althoguh they don't give the error message.
