ripple
While i'm greatful for your help ripple, I'd like to suggest we don't just bandy the comparisson to cancer around. Cancer is a serious illness and takes the lives of hundreds of loved ones every year. Its not the sort of thing that should ever be compared, or used as a metaphor for a gaming issue. So sanctimonious it's utterly ridiculous. (Real) People getting stabbed is no joke but Skyrim players do it in game all the time. I had a friend who was stabbed and don't find the idea entertaining in the least, but it would be ridiculous for me to take offense at Bethesda. What i'm trying to explain, is that i've never cleaned any files, now, or obviously before TES5Edit came out, while i understand it has amazing effects, and limits lots of features, and probably SHOULD be done, what i'm telling you, or trying to is that i can't see how it could be relevantNo one said that 'dirt edits' was the cause of your stuttering issue. Read. Carefully. If you'd rather spend time debating people who are trying to help you rather than fix your issues.....nevermind, this is a waste of time (for me anyway). Good luck, hope you get your issues sorted out. Edited February 26, 2013 by ripple
Beccy
Its not sanctimonious to find an issue sensitive, its a personal opinion. And, as with my previous post if you Read. Carefully. you'd see i'd given up looking for a cure for this minor issue, its not worth the extended amount of work, and risk of making things worse to solve. But once again, thank you for your effort. Beccy
Beccy
A friend made a suggestion the other day that i hadn't considered, is it possible that because i'm not losing FPS that this isn't a FPS issue but a computer issue?, is there any chance that my pc is staggering to load things (Maybe at the edge of Tamriel Chunks or something?) while my graphics card is doing its job without issue?, Or is this just silly talk? Belial666
It could be a bottleneck in your system.Thgouh it's possible once you noticed the tiny issue,it became bigger looking cause you are looking for it more, lol. It's best a little here or there, then alot all over.Defrag, turn off antivirus/spyware scanners, try to find hidden pc optimizing apps(windows has some hidden like background defrag). We tried about everything, and it's there.Could your drive be filling up?Have you run something like msi afterburner or evga precision, and HWINFO64(to check CPU cores and GPU for temps, usage, etc) to check what may maxing out? Beccy
Actually i've done none of these things, but i've got a feeling you're right about something small becoming something bigger the more i look for it, i guess its like anything right? you don't notice the hole in your shoe until something sharp pokes through, then you feel every blade of grass. Will give my machine a defrag though, its been a month or more, just incase. And i'll double check theres no scanners running in the background. Thanks again Belial, i'll report any sucsess or failure :D
