InsaneShadow
Just got myself FlashGot (pluggy for Firefox) and FlashGet (resumable downloading manager) because I decided I just had to have the latest Midas Magic .970... all 60mb of it, and me on a dialup connection.Double annoyance because I already have all 50mb of .960 (IE, most of the large files) and there's no patch to update :-/ Also, irony is having your downloads die multiple times while trying to download a resumable downloader program. Anyway, poking around with FlashGet/Got and trying to figure out how to download from the Nexus... unfortunately, FlashGet seems to get confused by the redirect that Nexus does and happily tells me it's "done" with all of 148 bytes of data. FlashGot (the pluggy for Firefox) doesn't actually seem to do anything. I can choose FlashGot from the download/open options in Firefox, and it goes ahead and starts downloading 60mb of "dl.php" in the Firefox Downloads window... which doesn't strike me as indicative of it actually working right. So, anyone know how to get this junk working? Or is it even possible? Do the servers even support resumable downloads of any sort?
buddah
The site only supports download managers for premium members. Buddah
