A question about the supply creates for my armies.

It buffs their armour and weapons when they're finally used.

Not sure it really matters though. I had played all the way through at least twice before I even understood how to use the "Army Picker", and even after learning how to do so I frequently forget that I could bring some more allies to bear. Easier just to fight with the team I assembled for the job! ;D

Full Disclosure: I play on "Nightmare" now, but the only Party-enhancing mods I use are "Extra Dog Slot" and "Full Combatant Dog". So my Party's firepower has already been increased by about 15-20% over vanilla, and there's another target to take the critters' attention (one I don't mind sacrificing quite as much as the others! :P )

Hmmm , so it's not worth investing in them eh?

Not worth "investing" if you have other things you'd rather do with the money. But if you don't, (and by late in the game there's little use for gold anyway) why not!? Same goes for semi-precious gems for the Dwarves, etc. It's a way to use all that stuff collected just by travelling around.

One consideration that might be different for you is that I've completed all the DLC campaigns a long time ago, so I have all of their bonus items available to my PC from the start. Besides being better than almost anything else you can find, there's one weapon that can be sold for over 350gp. With that advantage beginning as early as the arrival at Ostagar, "money" is not a problem! (In fact, I've stopped selling it because doing so allows my Party to become too powerful too soon. No fun any more... :P ) The rest of the items (armour, mage robes, belts, weapons) are plenty powerful, and working up to the required attribute minimums for some of them keeps things interesting.

Where can I find this "Weapon" exacly? Sounds intresting :p

And yeah, my party is pretty awesome right now, I have only finished the Darkspawn campgain for now, are you suggesting that I should do Lelian's Song too?

Btw, what's the dwarfs gain from the items I give them?

"The Cudgel of the Reaper" is the reward for completing Gollems of Amgarrak (GoA).

As far as contributions to allies in DA:O, I quote from the DA Wiki:

Effects

Investing resources into the various factions (where applicable) should apparently result in improved equipment and abilities for allied troops, but the mechanics and actual effects of this system are unclear. Even though numbers and upgrades from donations are unclear, with enough donations emissaries will say different lines depending on how much you donate. For example the mage emissary will say something like "Such power has not been seen since..." and after more donations of runes he will say "Even the templars will be amazed...". Whether or not this is just a morale booster for the player to donate more or actually indication of more power is unknown.

The most likely possibility is that as enemies scale with the Warden's level and that level can increase dependent on the quantity of donations. The troops will scale in power too, at the same rate as their equipment, as the higher the Warden's level is the higher grade equipment the human emissary wears (Awaiting verification).

You have to earn the "Grim Reaper" achievement, which means completing it on "Hard" or "Nightmare". The Sash of Forbidden Secrets is the reward for finishing on "Easy" or "Normal", and The High Regard of House Dace amulet is the reward for finding all the Research Notes.

And yes, since the Cudgel isn't earned until you defeat the Harvester and have therefore finished the Campaign, you won't see it until you start some other one (or start GoA all over! :P )
