thumbincubation
So I've been working on a little self-use mod, to allow me to console spawn generic guards and soldiers, with basic sandbox packages, where I want them. I use this to bolster for population and/or assign guards to certain trouble areas. (Several extra-enemies mods in). Both the Imperials and Stormcloaks use lvlguardimperial and lvlguardsons as templates, respectively, and they are checked to use the inventory and factions of the templates. Easy peasy, right? When I drop a bunch of Imperials in a fort, for example, they all show up around me correctly, and then go off to do their sandboxing. When I drop a bunch of stormcloaks, though, roughly 20% of them spawn with Imperial armor and weapons, though they still identify as Stormcloak Soldiers. (On this playthrough, I have completed the 2nd Great War, so I can't determine whether factions are an issue just yet, because they're both on the same side right now.) When I went back and checked, their inventories are correctly assigned to whatever the template uses, and the templates are using the normal vanilla inventory. I was hoping someone may have seen this before and could point me toward what to look at when only some of my npcs, spawned as a large group, are coming up with the wrong armor. I have narrowed it down to large (10+) spawns so far. Haven't had the problem if I only spawn 3-4 at a time, yet.
