jackkend76
Hi guys, I've struggled a while to figure this out. I have a high end system (i7-3930k cpu and an HD 7970 Ghz Ed graphics card). Whenever my video memory gets close to full I get a crash to desktop. I mean that it can be using 2800+ MB of the 3072 available and when I enter a new area whether, usually a building with high res characters in it) I get a crash to desktop. The primary culprit seems to be Unique Females and it's high res models. If I get more than 2 in any one place it crashes. Sometimes (not often) with two it will crash. I'm wondering if it's just the mod or if ATI cards become unstable with the memory full? The reason this seems odd is that my previous card which had 896 MB (Nvidia GTX 260) NEVER did this. If it ran out of memory it stutted and chugged a lot and made the game nearly unplayable but would never crash to desktop. I did however never have the chance to run the mod Unique Females with it.Mostly I'm looking to see if this is normal? Do other ppl have this issue? Is there any utility that will clean the video memory so it doesn't build and build until a crash? btw, nothing is overclocked, all stock speeds. I get a solid 60 fps everywhere. Speed is never an issue, just loading new areas when the vram is full. If anyone has any tips, it'd be awesome!
Belial666
Try without the mod, remove textures and everything that goes with it.Also, try using BOSS to see if there's conflicts. If you got alot of mods that add extra graphics, extends views and/or lots of textures over 2048 size, might be part of the issue.
