More comprehensive realism mod packs

In my days of modding STALKER, i remember choosing between realism mods that were not singular mods made by one person, but were a package of many mods put together to form a cohesive change to the game. "Oblivion Lost" was one i used. When modding Skyrim, you can get what you want, and the mod managers are fantastic, but there is this lingering doubt about conflicts possibly putting a damper on the functionality of EVERY SINGLE mod you've put together.

Having just watched a TES5edit tutorial, im stunned to find that a weapon model mod can effect graphical settings. With this possibility, i am almost depressed to think about modding in Skyrim. Right now, im trying to get mods that effect the economy, harvesting, combat, magic, de-leveling, difficulty, etc and i just can't see how anything can work together. Its the not knowing that is killing me too.
