OneOnOne1162 Posted October 21, 2020 Share Posted October 21, 2020 Hey everyone, I don't know if it's okay for me to contact moderators directly on Nexus, so I figured I would just ask it here? There's a mod here https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/26904 which has, in its permissions up top " You must get permission from me before you are allowed to use any of the assets in this file." However, down in the description of the mod it also says this: "Assets assembled into the new model by my self are free to use with out requesting permission, with the following exeptions." So I'm a bit confused now. Am I allowed to use the assets from this mod without permission? Or not? I've tried PMing the person, however they haven't been online in several months and someone else has informed me that they did not answer their message. So... I'm not sure what to do now. agerweb Posted October 22, 2020 Share Posted October 22, 2020 I think what he means is that the other modders resources (that don't require their permission to use) that have been put together in this mod don't need extra permission from him. However, other modders assets he used that he had to ask permission to use require that you must ask them as well. You will have to check the original mod pages to see what their permissions are.
