Daedthr
Hi guys, I making a new spell animation for casting at a target and am fine with all the modelling. The on thing I'm confused on is how to put it into the game. I want to make it so only a certain NPC uses this animation. In what folder do I put the animation (specialanims etc.) and also when I go into the CS and into my NPCs animation tab I understand I would have to check my animation, but would I have to uncheck the old spell casting animation, which I can't seem to be able to do. Also I know that whatever happens my animation won't replace the old one for the certain NPC 100% of the time, but is there anyway of making the odds for my animation being played a lot higher than the default one? Any answers appreciated. Daedthr EDIT: Ok so I've had a read of this thread http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/427115-combat-animations-to-apply-only-to-character/My question now is that how does the game know that the animation I'm making is for when the NPC casts a spell? I don't want to end up with it being an idle or something. If its a naming convention what do I have to name my animation for it to work in special anims as a spell casting on target anim?
