Fallout 4 voices are really quiet during player/npc dialogue. Possible mod issue?

DISREGARD THIS POST. FOR SOME REASON ITS WORKING JUST FINE TODAY. LAST NIGHT I WAS HAVING ISSUES

Hi! First post so sorry if I'm formatting wrong or if this is the wrong post thread to ask this in, but I'm having some audio issues.

All of the game sounds just fine and the volume is perfect, until I get to talking to an NPC in full dialogue (as in where I can choose what to say). At this point, both the lone wanderer as well as the NPC are about as quiet as possible without being silent. I can only barely hear them because I turned my radio down. I assume this is due to a/some mod(s) but I'm not sure which one(s). Does anyone have any thoughts or know of any issues with the following mods.

Just in case anyone else is having this issue, check your speaker settings and change according to the correct output device. ie// if you switched to a headset change from 7.1 surround (for example) to stereo.
