Possible Jericho dialog bug

I haven't actually played with Jericho as a helper NPC, but I've been watching this really long gameplay video on youtube by Tyndis and I've noticed something odd about Jericho.

The player hired Jericho on early in the game and sometimes in combat, he says "I'm gonna f*ck your sh*t up kid!"

This would make perfect sense if you pissed him off in Megaton and he was trying to kill you, but not as a companion as your killing ghouls, mutants, robots and the like together. I think it's a bug in the dialog selection for combat dialog.
