SKSE iTintTextureResolution causing blocky textures on beast reaces

UPDATE: Nevermind, I simply needed to download the optional tint masks for beast races from Xenius' Warpaint and Dirt mod page: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/29977

 

I installed Better Makeup for SKSE, the author of which says to add the following lines to the SKSE.ini file:

 

[Display]
iTintTextureResolution=2048

 

Now, however, I am getting blocky textures on parts of the faces of Khajiit and Argonians. My uneducated guess is that some specific fur and scales are applied to the mesh using tintmasks, or something like that.

 

My question is, is there a way around this, or do I just have to decide between high quality makeup and high quality beast races?
