DylanHollis
Alright folks, So I'm nearing the end of this mod of mine - And I've been play testing it to high heavens One thing I've noticed about my new Voiced Lines, - Is that during general dialogue (When you're not actually in conversation , eg: Speaking to other NPC's, shouting when one gets shot etc....), These custom voices sound as If they are within 2 feet of me? - When in fact they are several yards away? Like, If I was standing just outside Doc Mitchell's House, and this new NPC of mine with a custom recorded voice was beating Easy Pete with a baseball bat on the Saloon Porch - I would here him say "You Like that?" and "Arrghh", as if he was standing right next to me?, But Easy Pete's voice would remain normal - It's the weirdest thing and I would like to fix it. - All of these recorded lines are in .Wav format, Stereo (2-channels)- They are all lip-synced through the TES Construction Set- These NPC's of mine do have custom Voice Types however, Must I change a setting in there?- The volumes are set appropriately by matching velocities with Vanilla Files.- My Mod is converted into a .esm file due to it's size and necessary other resources.- AND IT'S DARN ANNOYING! If anyone who has knowledge in this issue would please lend me their glowing golden hand of amazingness to help combat this Problem, - That would be really helpfulFor I can't wait to release this mod into the community, and this is pretty much the only thing holding me back :) Thanks So Much,
Xaranth
I know for regular sound files, there ate attenuation settings; are there similar settings for voice types or voice files? That's what it sounds like to me, an attenuation issue.
