Skree000
dds are images like JPG or TGA. download the NVIDIA texture tools and the NVIDIA Dds thumbnail viewer addon for windows explorer also youll need NVIDIA DDS photoshop plugin before you can start modifying DDS files

Tycho77
you'll need to find the file path to the armor that you want toreplace, and put it there.Should look something like fallout3\data\textures\armor\*stuff*\"replacement texture name".ddsWhere "replacement texture name" is the name of the .dds file you have. You will also need to setup your ArchiveInvalidation with the right path name, as well as having InvalidateOlderFiles set to 1 in your fallout.ini I believe the path is:textures\armor\tenpeny\tenpenny.ddsSo place your new texture in the folder fallout3\data\textures\armor\tenpenny\and copytextures\armor\tenpeny\tenpenny.ddsinto your ArchiveInvalidation.txtIf the folders don't exist, you will need to create them.If you haven't already, you will also need to set InvalidateOlderfiles=1 in fallout.ini in C:\Documents and Settings\*your user name*\My Documents\My Games\Fallout3us ctrl f to find it, or look; it's about 80% of the way to the bottom of the text file. I can't speak for how to do this in Vista. Good luck
