Gwyvern Posted February 24, 2013 Share Posted February 24, 2013 I am currently working on a project, and so far everything is going well except for the weight sliders. I did everything as per usuall according to several different tutorials, but for brevity i will say that the current _0 and _1.nifs were made by making the _0, then moving the verts around in 3ds max so that they fit, then exporting that as the _1, using the exact same skin, weight, skeleton, and dismember data as the _0, pointed the CK at the _1 mesh, then saved/etc it still does not work with the weight slider, the game just uses the _1 mesh and completely ignores the _0, it would be one thing if things went haywire and blew up, because i could fix that, but when nothing happens, and i cannot locate an explanation i find myself at a loss any assistence on this matter will be greatly appreciated. VectorPlexus Posted February 24, 2013 Share Posted February 24, 2013 aside from the possibilty of having renamed the _0 incorrectly, nothing else crosses my mind. Gwyvern Posted February 24, 2013 Author Share Posted February 24, 2013 found the issue, all files must be in all lower case (even if the casing is consistent, it dosen't work) and more importantly, all files MUST be correctly named and placed in the folders you want them in BEFORE loading up your mod in CK why? i have no idea, but the weight sliders stop working 100% of the time that these rules are not followed Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
