StormWalker183
I probably manually installed Midas Magic before I knew what I was doing, and uninstalled the mod during the same noobling period. When I started playing Skyrim again, I noticed that the spell tomes and aurumn reactors from the mod were still present. So I scoured through my Skyrim and NMM files and deleted any leftover pieces with the name Midas Magic on them, but the items continued to persist. At that point I just up and reinstalled the entire game, but the damned things are still there. Can anyone help, because I'm about to tear out my proverbial hair. fiewiel
If you newly install than just uinstall skyrim, delete manually the folder where it was installed, install skyrim again. If there are still leftovers of midas its in your savegame.2nd possible method would be: Uninstall all mods using a mod manager und use this guide to revert back to vanilla: http://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:Troubleshooting3rd possible way would be to download the midas magic version you used manually to your hd, unzip/unrar the archive and check its content. Youll see the directory structure and/or the .bsa files and you only have to delete them manually in your skyrim installdir. If the changes are in your savegame youre out of luck though. AlduinWorldEater
I suggest method 3. It's a bit tedious and time-consuming, but it's the best way to completely erase a mod from your game. I did that fairly recently with a mod. Takes time, patience, and thorough examination, but it works best IMO.
StormWalker183
Hehe, I figured out that Titanis was causing my "problem" right after I posted this. Thanks all for the answers, though.
