I play a Robin Hood type character; I steal from the rich and give to the poor. But giving the beggars just one gold piece at a time is rather time consuming, especially when I have food or other items that would be immediately useful to them.

Would it be possible for someone to please create a mod to allow beggars to accept items instead of, or in addition to, gold? My character could then steal food, clothing, gemstones, whatever really and just share it directly with the people who needed it.

Thank you for your consideration! :)

hmm nice idea but personally I would like it so the beggars improve. as in 1k gold pieces later, he buys some clothes or something..or maybe give them more money.. But main idea is that they acknowledge the money given to them..like in oblivion, the beggars there seemed different and more important. not once in skyrim did i have to talk to beggars to complete a quest (maybe im not that far yet)

Good idea, would be great for realism. Im not a very good modder so im afraid i cant help really, but its a good idea.

And what killerman said is great too, i'd like to see that in the game.

The only quest I got from one was to steal some rare ale from the tavern for him. The beggars do, however, give you a buff for helping them out.

I think that'd be awesome. You could give them clothes to wear and they would actually equipp them, and if hearthfire is enabled, you could ask them to move to your house or buy a house for them. Then you could find them there, and they'd be like your butlers.
