scarycave
Been awhile, but I finally got around to adding the Yao-Guai eyes.http://i.imgur.com/SD5pXIe.jpg
scarycave
So, I think I'm going to be going back to the red-eyes I had last time, I'm just not to big on how it came out...I want to try to start setting up the mod, I'm going to start by making a few dens throughout the Wasteland.Their probably going to be on the small side - but I think its a good place to start before I actually start plopping leveled lists around. The Wolves in the dens will scale with the PC's level, meaning you can find them here early.I'm also thinking of putting in a wolf-pup the player can adopt. scarycave
So, I'm making some overhauls to the whole thing right now. Mainly because the dens keep crashing on me and I don't want to put up with that right now. So, the wolves will still have a den somewhere - but I might just release a beta first, but now the Wolves function a bit like the staclchilds from Ocarina of Time, mainly that they appear at night, and disappear in the morning (but only if the player is a certain distance away and the wolf is not in combat, or loads up a new cell), they're also a bit bigger making them more warg like in size. They still go down fairly quickly despite they're size at earlier levels but they can swarm which is a big problem for followers that run ahead into battle and they're size prevents them from escaping if they manage to circle them - which does happen at times. If you wish to avoid them, you should stay on the highway (since I want to keep them away from merchants - hoping they don't get killed is a big enough headache already). The highest level a waste wolf can go depends on its "rank". Ranks depend on the players level, a low level will get lesser's and maybe just a regular one, higher levels will see a lot less of the lesser's and more standard and even greater's, at level 30 Albino ones start showing up. I haven't decided on drops yet, since they're supposed to make the game more dangerous at night, I don't want them to drop stuff that will make it to easy. I was thinking of a meat for them to drop that increases perception, heals, and gives like +18 rads. I was also thinking of making equipment you could get from their hides, I tried to make a hood, but it looks really silly. There still will also be a wolf pup the player can recruit but will probably not be ready for the beta. I am also thinking of having tribal's appear as well - but only if you have point look out. These tribal's are cannibals that use their wolves to hunt man and beast alike. You will be able to trade with them if you have the animal friend perk for supplies (if I can get that far) and they'll be friendly towards you. Also thinking of adding a hidden perk - I won't say how one would get the perk though, but it will raise your stats during the full moon and you may need some stimpacks and med-x with a bit of patience to get it.
