Rokreon
Hello to everyone on the forums. I downloaded hearthfire for skyrim recently but haven't gotten around to playing the game until now. Can someone please help me understand the concept of what exactly this game does? I downloaded some house mods that are the "Hearthfire" edition of them, but still dont have a clear understanding of what makes them different from the non-hearthfire ones. Also i need to know if i download the Non-hearthfire homes, will they conflict since i do have hearthfire or will the traits that the DLC bring be non-relative to the house? Sorry for the poor construction of the thread i'm kind of in the middle of something and just asking for advice i have somewhat of a understanding when i play skyrim again. fortie
Hearthfires, what it does is enables you to "build" a house in three holds. Heljarchen Hall in The PaleLakeview Manor in Falkreath HoldWindstad Manor in Hjaalmarch These are in a preset location and prebuilt your just "enabling" them a piece at a time and only what you want to enable. gsmanners
Hello. You should probably start with this: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Hearthfire
Rokreon
Thanks for that breaking that down, but as when i was referring to the mods, Those houses have to be built if i download the "hearthfire" edition as well? or i simply have the traits of the dlc without having to actually build the whole house from ground up? gsmanners
It depends on the mod. If you have a mod that changes a DLC house, then you need that house. Otherwise, you only need the DLC installed and activated.
fortie
Most "hearthfires" edition houses include things to do with the DLC hearthfires, be it cooking planting adopting.
