ThreeRejects
So I'm not sure if there's a mod out there that already addresses this, but I couldn't seem to find any on a search, so I figured I'd ask here. There are several instances in Fallout 4 where the game will tell the player that a companion liked or disliked something, while their actual dialogue indicates the opposite. "Synth Retention" is a good example of this, as you can see in this video. If you say you're gonna kill the synth, Piper says she didn't sign up for an execution, and yet she liked that? Danse agrees synths need to be destroyed, and yet he hated that? It's a mess, and I'm pretty sure it's not a unique case, though I'm hard-pressed to name any other specific examples right now. Are there any fixes out there to make companion affinity more accurately reflect their dialogue?
ImmortalAbsol
I've never had that issue or even heard of it but I have always played with the unofficial patch, even if my game is otherwise vanilla. The AFT activator (Advanced Follower Tweaks) allows you to invert likes and dislikes, but I imagine that's a quick and dirty fix, you should probably find the source of the problem instead. If you post your mod list people here will be more likely to be able to help.Even if someone were to make a mod for you they would have to be able to recreate your exact issue first. Hope you get a fix one way or another.
