Rob Markia Posted December 31, 2008 Posted December 31, 2008 I know it's not as hard to find mods on here as oblivion, but we should have it, though it's slightly impossible to do a top 100 in a forum posts as you have to check how many people voted for this and that, I'll try, so suggest me with ideas on how to do it.
Slyvena1 Posted January 1, 2009 Posted January 1, 2009 That would be great, just esspicaially if it could be incorperated into the same same menu as Latest Files. So we could have Latest Files, Top Files, Crappiest Files. It would be great
MechanicalPirate Posted January 1, 2009 Posted January 1, 2009 This would certainly be useful for people who are just starting to get mods too. They can see which are the "best" mods. How would the system work? Purely on downloads, purely on ratings? A mix? Ratings can be tricky as if a mod gets a single "10" rating it is instantly better than a mod with 100 "10"s and a "9".
ZableBlaze Posted January 1, 2009 Posted January 1, 2009 Whenever I'm looking for good, reliable mods I tend to sort them by most downloads to least. I think this is the best way to tell.
joefoxx082 Posted January 1, 2009 Posted January 1, 2009 clearly, people who start lists like these are people who's never really spent a good time making mods... how can you rate something that is free? every single modder here dedicates time and effort, each according to his/her own ability and skill, in exchange for nothing.
tehfata Posted January 1, 2009 Posted January 1, 2009 well, you rate them based on quality of work, professionalism, that type of thing I suppose. I've done one or two, and I realize that they're strictly amatuer; where as something like the weapons mods by vash or the skins by millenia are more or less on the professional level.
