Ecotone Dual Sheath shield problem

I installed this mod and it was working like a charm for a good while, that is until I encountered a random pack of wolves and the shield stopped sheathing at my back, it might have something to do with me switching from my shiled and sword to my bow and back and forth but I've already done that before the issue. The NPCs can sheathe it at their back but it simply doesn't work with my character for some reason. I've tried re-installing it, disabling it via mcm waiting 30 seconds and enabling it back multiple times, and even messing with XPMSSE but it simply does not want to work. Any ideas what could be causing it and how can I fix it?

Unfortunately, you uninstalled and then reinstalled it, so the easy solution might not be available, but what I'd do is load a save before the "incident-issue" occurred

That did work! The only problem is that the only savefile I found was at level 4 and my character is at level 13, ah well back to grinding. Thanks for the help though!

That's why you should always create new saves at least upon leveling., just to avoid the impending CTD and loss of levels. As you progress (ie you hit the higher levels), it's pretty important to save once and a while for much the same reason, although doing so won't make such an apparent "level save" to your game if you CTD (you could have only progressed a tenth of a level at say... level 45 but CTD'ing will still lose whatever progress you've gained. Leveling is much slower at higher levels)
