Textures work in the GECK but not in-game?

Hello everyone. Below are two pics of my mickey mouse statue I've been trying to add as a decoration piece:

I've tried a few things, but am not having much luck getting the game to find the textures. The GECK though locates them fine. Do the dds textures need to be a specific type of dds (DXT3, DXT5, etc)? Do the textures actually need to be added back into Fallout - Textures.bsa? Any assistance people can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Figured it out and it didn't actually require a new texture set. I forgot to add to the correct texture paths to ArchiveInvalidation.txt. For any other beginners out there seeing the broken brick/concrete placeholder texture appear all over your new models, this article here cleared up a lot of issues with my stuff:
