InnerSpike
Hi I'm new to Nexus so please forgive me if I'm putting this in the right place or this has been answered beforeI played TES 14: Oblivion and had a great time modding it and adding new weapons and armors into the game. Thus I know how to manually install the addons/mods for said weapons/armors and turn them on.But for some reason whenever I pick up said armor from a mod, the texture is always the same: fluctuating from white scale to wood/white brick to stone to random texture depending on the angle I look at it. I've made sure to copy the textures that come with each mod, yet they still show up with the same messed up textures. Some of the mods have comments that refer to the issue I speak of and that its a bug; yet others don't even mention it. Its not just happening to some of my mods, its happenning to ALL of my mods.If I'm missing a download you have to have pre-using mods then that may be the problem or for some reason I have an out of date ver. RyuaNesha
In oblivion if it didn't have a texture I believe that the model was shown as an error (haven't played in a long time). But in fallout3 missing textures in stead flash random textures. So if its flashing random textures then it is a problem with your game loading the textures. Which means that it is likely an archive invalidation problem. Which I suggest you get some form of archive invalidation invalidator. The best option would be getting the fallout mod manager which has one built in. Problem fixed at the press of a button.
