Job4aCowboy
Hey, I have encountered a problem/bug (or I'm doing something terribly wrong) I created a new cell, its a cave area. Its not particularly big, but It is very organic. Rooms don't look like a series of squares etc, everything is on its own grid.Anyway if you have experience with room bounding you might understand that these kind of cells are a PITA to room bound.I managed to do it created multiple boxes and joining them together, and using portals etc. My problem is when I went into the game it seems to run even worse than without room bounds. So i figured I had too many room bounds. Back in the creation kit I proceeded to delete some room bounds and start again, but every time I delete a room bound random objects get deleted with it, and pressing the back button only restores the room bound, not the objects.I know this question/answer will come up, so just to clarify I know for certain only the room bound(s) are selected. The only two options I can see is to scrap the cell (a days work gone ) or to leave it as is. If anyone can help, it'd be much appreciated. I haven't run into too many bugs/problems that I haven't been able to sort out myself or research for a solution. But this is beyond me lol. littleork
Did you restart your creation kit completely and reopen it? I had an issue yesterday where I could see roombound but half the cell wasnt showing up,I restarted the ck and it worked again. If you go in game, is it all deleted? IF you didn't save it yet, I would just close the ck without saving and see if it fixes it.

I know this post is very old, but I'll mention what I found out when I came across this problem, in case others have it. The issue seems to be that the room bounds are connected to Portals. You have to select every portal in your cell, one at a time, and select 'detatch portal from room' from the top options. Then delete portals onced detached. You should then be able to delete the Room bounds without any objects disappearing. It worked for me anyway.
