moizzz
How would I go about making a dungeon that leads to a big valley of sorts. Somewhat similar to Skuldafn. I want to make a small town in a secluded part of the mountains. Basically, you go in via a cave opening and the cave leads outside again, only in the mountains where it is otherwise unreachable. I would want to be able to teleport back and forth, like Fort Dawnguard. Is it considered a dungeon inside a dungeon, or is it simply a dungeon leading to an otherwise unreachable area in skyrim, again, like Skuldafn. TL;DR1. Is skuldafn a real area in skyrim, or is it considered a dungeon?2. Can you teleport to and from this place? (i know you couldnt in skuldafn, but that place is special because of main quest). 3. Would I need to clear an area in skyrim(Example, in the mountains) to place my city/town there? Thanks a lot! ps: hope its the right place to ask.
sillybloke
hehe your TL;DR is just as long as the first part of the post! I really don't know the answer, but sounds like a cool idea. Might I make a suggestion? Ok, how about your outdoor dungeon is a maze - a big maze - a Labyrinth. TL;DRMake a maze.

A huge maze doesn't seem to fit into my idea, thanks though ^^Ps: Yea, I realized the TL;DR was pretty stupid the moment i clicked post.
ChampionOfHircine
You need to create your own worldspace. In the Creation Kit click 'world' on the toolbar and select 'world spaces'. Right click the list and click new. Name it, set the default land height (I'd recommend at least 2000 above or below default water height. For reference, a single wall section for an interior set is 256 in length.) and click ok. Keep in mind that you will need to Stuff like this is rare because it's pretty hard to pull off. I'll fiddle around with it, but since I'm new to this, its probably too much. Would a town in this "worldspace" me possible though? and functional? ChampionOfHircine
Yes, actually every city in Skyrim is in its own worldspace. That's why you need to go through a loading screen to get in. They just copy the terrain from the primary worldspace. Don't ask me how to do that, I have no idea.
