daemon1129
I want to create a new weapon with GECK, it is going to base off either the victory rifle or the reverst rifle. So when i go into geck, load the main fallout 3 data file. I found the WeapUniqueReservistsRifle thing. Here's the problem, how can I copy this to use it as a base of my new weapon? There are no copy or paste...All the i want to do is to changes its dmg and spread and those easy stuff. I don't care about spawning the weapon at all, just need to console it out. Heres another problem, how do I change the id of it? or if thats impossible, how can i check what id it is? the id for the console command, player.additem xxxxxxxx. I'm new to this so please bear with me. thanks in advance.
veliv
Open it up, change the EDID (editor id) and save. It should ask if you want to create a new form. Works with other stuff too.
daemon1129
THX for the answer, works great now! Just one more question, how can i change the model the weapon uses, do i need to extract the old ones first? since i can't type the path for it in GECK? soulsquisher
Well you shouldn't really need to considering that every model is used by a gun in game so you just need to change the editor ID of the weapon that has the model you wish for, all other settings can be changed.
