:wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash: what is that and how can i get the oblivion 1.2 patch???? im crazy 2 use the mods but it saids that i need the 1.2 patch 2 use em...plzz help!

First, Which version of Oblivion do you have?

 

If you have the d2d version, you must get the d2d patch from their website. The one from Bethesda will not work.

 

If you have a pirate version, Don't be so cheap, buy the game. The programmers have families to support.

 

If you have the Game of the Year version, It's already patched.

 

If you have a different language version (Note the UK & US are different language versions for Oblivion, but not for SI) You must use the language version for the language of the original disk you used to install.

 

Now, If you have Shivering Isles installed you only need the Shivering Isles patch. Do not use the Oblivion patch.

 

To see which patch version you do have, look in the lower left corner when in the start up screen. If it says v1.2.0416 you already have the latest version.

 

To get the patch, go to the official Bethesda Softworks site, Here:

Scroll down to find the patch you need. Remember that UK & US Oblivion patches are different. While SI patches are the same for UK & US (It seems that we don't always speak the same language, but sometimes we do.)

i got the normal oblivion game,(i buyed it on a shop),and i got shivering isles,and i checked the thing of the start in the left corner and it saids version 1.2.0201,its the same as version 1.2.0416?thanks :thanks:

version 1.2.0416 is the current patch,use that one.Its available at the Bethesda site.If you have the GotY version,its already patched!
