Weird Shadows from Magic Lights

I have a weird issue currently, where after a set of tweaks everything seemed to look fine except for shadows created by a magic lightsource (like a spell being cast). The tweaks I've done were mostly following the tutorial released by NVidia. I don't have that much time right now, so I thought I'd ask if anyone had a similar problem and can tell me roughly which setting is responsible...

 

Here's what I'm dealing with:

 

Normal (only static light):

Now I am using Realistic Lighting Overhaul, but that did not cause any issues before today, so I'm crossing it out.
