qalazar Posted March 1, 2013 Share Posted March 1, 2013 I saw Skyrim is tried to turn into MMO with online support. But it is really hard and take quite time. What about MOBA game. MOBA games are very populer and needs online support. I think easier to make than MMO, and suitable for Skyrim's editor. making a new area isolated from skyrim and making many unique characters. People can choose them before start of the game. And fighting each other. It's a great PvP option for skyrim. I saw the game name is Forge, making by similer idea, game is not good, but like the idea, I dont know how to use editor. But if you guys interested I want to know. MOBA's require a reliable sync between clients as well as fast response times, modding a MOBA into a game is a horrible idea from both gameplay and coding standpoints. You'd really just want to make an entire new game in a different engine that could take the demands and not be extremely glitchy. Perhaps theme it after elder scrolls, but modding Skyrim into it is essentially guaranteed not to happen. Not to mention you'd need good servers to work with which cost money, and as this is owned by Bethesda you'd need to get their express permission to gain income from it to support said servers.
