CzarOfTheMoon
I haven't tried to load any mods. I haven't been messing around with the data files at all. Yesterday, while wandering around the wasteland, I suddenly realized the radio hadn't been working since I last loaded a save game. I fast traveled all around, and the radio wasn't playing anywhere. I loaded save games from back at the begininng, and no radio. I restarted, and there was no loading music. I'm a noob, but I've tried snooping around the data files to find the music files. Nothing. Can anyone give me some advice?

Xanorak
Hey there, I have a similiar problem. While reinstallation ( Had to reinstall to get pass being a baby, some weird bug) it said it couldn't extract the file sound.bsa, and I am asking all around for someone to send the file to me. For me, no gunshot sounds, no music, no sound effects, nothing except for voices. It was able to extract that. It is so dull to have zero sound except for voices, so somebody please send me the sound.bsa file.
domanz
There was a thread already discussing the very same problem, solution was installing the game on a different pc where installation might work flawlessly and then copy the sound.bsa to you own fallout3 directory. Might try it.

Circuitous
It seems odd that it just stopped working one day. Do you still have sound effects (footsteps, gunfire)?
CzarOfTheMoon
@ domanz Mere words cannot adequately express my graditude. I looked through pages and pages of old threads but I didn't see any that looked like my problem. But, now I did what you said and now it works like a charm. @ xanorax Use a buddy's computer, that's what I had to do.
CzarOfTheMoon
@ Circuitous Yeah, I had every sound except music. Weird, huh? My PC moves in mysterious ways, and it is not the lot of mortal man to judge Him. When I fixed it I just extracted all the sound.bsa files, though. Just in case.
