BaconBatman
Like the title says, I downloaded a file and it just doesn't show up :/ I did it both through the NMM and Manually.... no results.... Anyone have a solution?
starfire42
Did you remember to extract the actual save files and put them in the your save folder? Also, look at the number in the save files name. That should tell you waht it's number will be in your list of save games.
BaconBatman
It's literally not there. I only have two autosaves in the list of saves, having recently deleted a large amount of files in the folder for other purposes (long story)
starfire42
Last time I download a save file I got a mycoolgamesave.zip file. That's a file archive that is NOT automatically read by skyrim. After opening the .zip file in Winrar (my preferred compression program) it contained a "save 10 - mycoolcharacter Skyrim 28.08.05.ess" file . I extracted that .ess file into the same folder where all of my other save files are stored and THEN launched Skyrim. Alternatively, after you've got the .ess file extract, you can open up the console and type load "save 10 - my cool character Skyrim 28.08.05"
BaconBatman
Thanks for the advice, but I do have the .ess file in the folder. I don't know why it wont appear. I will try the console thing though
