masani23
More often than not I am overwhelmed by all of the mods I see for this game often to the point where I just don't feel like playing so I don't have to deal with any of it. I was wondering if there was an up-to-date guide for retexture mods. There's too much content and I have no idea what does what and what doesn't work with what. I just want to make Skyrim as beautiful as possible because my machine can handle anything. Which is why just using Skyrim HD does not cut it. I usually use that as my base retex mod and try to find more varied/unique ones to install over it, such as Vurts. But like I said there's just so much content and even when I follow readme's and other things at the end of the day my game doesn't work right. I am not looking for other tips or other help. Or, "I like this mod!" I am looking for something like nVamp for New Vegas, but exclusively retexture mods. I'm tired of Dragon shouts popping out of the ground at me instead of from their mouths, or a door not loading and me falling into nothing only to be teleported to the beginning of a dungeon. Any help?
Deleted1308005User
So you are looking for better graphics? Also, how's "I'm tired of Dragon shouts popping out of the ground at me instead of from their mouths, or a door not loading and me falling into nothing only to be teleported to the beginning of a dungeon."Related to this request? And title is somewhat wrong. Short answer to title:Anything can be retextured. If your PC can really handle anything:http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/11And follow every tip and download every mod. masani23
I worded the title poorly. But as for the Shout out of the ground, that's just a problem I keep having no matter how I install my mods and I am tired of dealing with it, which is why I don't want a list of just "top mods" that add things that aren't textures. Because they keep f*#@ing my game up and I can't find the source, so I must be doing something wrong. Which is why I was asking for a guide that isn't terrible (by terrible I mean it gives you assinine directions with the assumption that certain things are just "a given" and they don't mention it. No examples.) Edited March 1, 2013 by masani23
