hello I would like to ask a question

Hi, I'm new in the forum and pag. I already see that it is a great community and I like to be part of it, I have no experience creating or modifying that is why I write this post.
I wanted to know how to modify the novac bungalow in the willow companion mod. what I want to try is to put a sideboard of weapons like in a mod that I saw of an underground house. (underground hideuot) since it is one of my favorite buildings but comrade Willow does not add his collection in that building from now on thanks.

The starting point for most new mod creators is the tutorials found here at the "Community GECK" wiki site called GECKWiki. That site contains more "up to date" information than the official Bethesda site, including functions and features added by the community to that from the Bethesda site. (GECKWiki is basically an updated clone of the Bethesda site.) The tutorials take you through the process of creating both "exterior" and "interior" cells in the game, which are the foundation of all mods. ("Homes", "buildings", and "dungeons" are "interior" cells, which can then be placed in/linked to "exterior" locations.)

 

We also have a "Getting started creating mods using GECK" article in the Nexus Wiki which provides links to other tutorials on various aspects of mod creation as well as "lessons learned" TIPs from experienced mod creators. Please see the 'GECK: Common Problems' section when initially setting up the GECK before you start attempting to use it.

 

Different sections of the forum tend to get responses from people with different areas of expertise (i.e. "Different sections get different eyeballs.")

* "Discussion" section tends to be "non-technical" in nature, and more "free form" in subject matter.

* "Spoilers" section discusses revealing game play progress questions and answers for when you get stuck with how to proceed.

* The "Technical Support" section is for problems getting the game to run in a stable manner. Most of the time the responses can already be found in the "FNV General Mod Use Advice" and "Fallout NV Mod Conflict Troubleshooting" wiki articles.

* The "Mod Talk" section is for a general discussion about a mod concept or approach, It also has a "sticky" thread at the top for people needing or offering to be 'voice actors' for mods.

* For questions about how to approach or deal with a particular mod technique or problem with implementation or function, the "Mod Troubleshooting" section is best.

* The "Mod Requests" section is where a mod idea is proposed in the hope someone else will take it up and make it.

* For problems with getting the GECK to do what you want, see the "GECK and Modders" section.
