Grubsnik
As per the title, really. I've made a few NPCs- nothing too fancy, just a few farmers and such to liven the place up a bit- but they do not seem to use their AI packages, preferring to lurk inside their houses sandboxing all day. The official CK tutorial has been fairly useless, as usual, so do any of you guys have any idea what would cause an NPC to disregard their packages? No conditions have been set on any of them or anything like that and they really are as simple as 'go outside and sandbox for a few hours' etc.. Any ideas? maxarturo
1) Check that your house both "Load Doors" are connected, and that you have "Finalized" the NavMesh. 2) Check the order of your packages from up to down. 3) If your packages have a 'Target Reference' where the npc should go to sandbox, then check that 'Marker Target' is assigned in the package. If you are using a "Cell", then check that the package has the correct cell assigned.
agerweb
Also if the door to their house is locked have you given them the key.

Everything seems to be in order, they just aren't doing what they are told. I'm going to try using packages from existing NPCs to see if they work. EDIT: No joy. Second edit: I'm a dolt. Forgot to finalise the navmesh on the new cell. Edited November 13, 2020 by Grubsnik
