AlienSensei
The Akavari is the most inspiring continent and piece of lore in the TES universe in my opinion. I'd love to get it clear what the Kamal look like, and maybe even the Tang Mo? And my favorite species, the Ka Po Tun, and if the Tsaesci are human or not, or if they are vampires and so on... I've read the major next dlc will be against the Thalmor, which I'm all up for, but I would love some side quests with some sea battle for the companions against the Akavirians, or something like that. Any ideas? Is it likely?
Elsarian
Hmmm, I would be more interested in having an entire game set in the province of Akivir for simple reasons: 1. Bethesda has never released a DLC that adds an entire province because it already takes years just to build and flesh out their current provinces that we've been too. I find that it would be better for us simply get more closure with skyrims' many plots that are left with loose, i.e. dealing with the thalmor etc.
BrettM
Properly dealing with the Thalmor, however, would certainly require new provinces as well. Wouldn't we have to go to Cyrodiil and, eventually, Alinor at the very least? There are so many good possibilities for continuing the story of the Dragonborn, such as the Thalmor threat, the Akaviri threat, and the Falmer threat. I'd really love to see TES V break the usual mold for single-player RPGs and add some massive expansions, even if we have to wait a couple of years for each. Or perhaps they could find a way to allow us to continue our characters over to later games that take us into these areas.

The civilized and those being able to create such threats are extinct, so I don't think it's possible for blind brain-damaged goblin looking elf mutants to be able to build up an army. The most the could do is plunder a village, but they guards would take care of that.
AlduinWorldEater
As far as the Falmer threat goes, there's a loading screen that says they want nothing more than to eradicate surface life. Maybe they would amass in some secluded Dwemer ruin, and then invade the surface world? They've got no eyes, yet they always manage to sniff/hear you out when you're on their turf...they'd obviously be confused, as there's less acoustic surfaces on the, well, the surface, but still, I could see this panning out. I wouldn't necessarily consider the Akaviri a threat per se, however - I'd love to see the continent finally come to life. We found Akaviri items throughout Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim, and the Blades themselves have their roots in Akavir, so I'd like to know if there are any humanoids left at all. And ah, the Thalmor...wouldn't we all love to take the fight to them?
BrettM
By the time of Skyrim, the Falmer had become mythical, or nearly so. There were few, if any, credible sightings. Snow Elves were something out of very ancient tales, and their twisted descendents hiding deep in Dwemer ruins were virtually unknown. Yet now they are getting bolder and more aggressive. They are taking up residence in Nordic barrows on the border between the Rift and Eastmarch, tunneling into fortresses in Whiterun, breaking into lighthouses in Winterhold, and waylaying merchant caravans in the Reach. Guards in Whiterun hold are seeing strange, frightening creatures that they can't identify, and warning people away from the cave where they seem to be lairing. I would call that a growing threat. There are many hints that this is leading up to some future crisis for Skyrim. The Falmer: A Study suggests this, and I think it would be an interesting DLC directly related to Skyrim. It could be even more interesting now that we have access to Solstheim, where the Snow Prince was defeated, and Forgotten Vale, though I don't know if they'd ever make a DLC that requires the player to have previous DLCs. And on the other hand that sounds pretty creepy-ish, as I'd love to have that as a side quest but not as the main story in the dlc.
niceguy
That would require a new game sure we could have Akaviri content in Skyrim but to travel there in the SKyrim game would make no sense at all.
