SunderedChaos
I've seen screenshots of Morrowind from people that have made the game look fantastic. I've been through addictions to both Oblivion, and Skyrim, and have poured several hundred hours into each game. Now, I would like to play Morrowind, but I just can't do it. I loaded the game, and I played it for about 5 minutes before thinking "this game looks terrible." I hate to admit, but I'm a bit jaded. I have a very high end pc, but after making Oblivion look fantastic, and making Skyrim look even better, I just get bored unless the game looks fantastic. How can I make Morrowind look at least as good as vanilla Oblivion? Doesn't sound like it should be that hard. I'm talking anilla Oblivion, not even Oblivion after I've downloaded 30 high res texture packs for it, or Skyrim after I've done the same. And I mean in every way, I want characters to look beautiful, to be highly rendered, to have beautiful environments, realistic lighting, better LOD's, a farther line of sight, realistic weather. If it's in the game, I want it to look better. I want it to at least look as good as Oblivion, or I don't think I'm gonna be able to get into it. I hate to admit it, I've always been a critic of people that are like that with games, but I've just gotten used to the graphics of Elder Scrolls games on my computer taking my breath away. If anyone could point me in the right direction, that would be much appreciated. Edited March 1, 2013 by SunderedChaos

Tchos
There are a few big overhaul packages out there, which take care of everything for you, or give you options to select which to install. I don't have a link handy, but I think a search for "morrowind overhaul" should work.
Drullo321
If you use the english version and dont want to get too involved just download Morrowind Overhaul 3.0. It should do the rest for you. If you want to get things on your own or at least want to mod the things you get with MO 3.0: - You need the MW Code Patch for things like rain shelters (dont worry, highly configurable)- As linked above, MGE XE, means grafic extender enable distant lands (otherwise the MW engine restricts here), realistic water effect, shaders, different resolutions, etc.- WIth MGE versions you can even add animated grass to the landscape- There are a lot of texture packs but often you have go into detail for smaller things (often misc stuff even when there are packages). Let me sum the things, beside the things mentioned above you can look "statics" and normal water in a way it even looks as good as or better then Skyrim but animated objects like NPCs and creatures are pretty much limited to the things you get with mods like "Better Bodies".
