KingArt Posted January 1, 2009 Share Posted January 1, 2009 OK, I'm having lots of trouble with locked doors. Following the tutorials provided by Bethsoft, I seem to be doing everything correct, but I can't get the doors to actually lock. When I edit a door, I checked the persistent reference box, then check the "Locked" button from the tab. I got it to work ONCE, and I even unlocked the door with a terminal. Later, when coming back to that same area (without saving or changing that door), the door was openable and doesn't seem to lock. What am I doing wrong? KingArt Posted January 2, 2009 Author Share Posted January 2, 2009 OK, I'm definitely having trouble here. I created an all new area with a basic door. I set the lock tab to Locked, Average. I went to the place (in game) and the door was in fact locked. It even told me that I didn't have high enough lockpick skill to unlock it. I continued building, and went back to test some more things later. Without changing anything on that door, when I was walking by, it suddenly isn't locking. It just says "Open Door" and it opens with no trouble. Why? Am I the only one running into this? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
