54yeggan
Hi, so I'm a bit new here to making models for Fallout 4 I am currently using a base static object as my base to work with, however there are some problems arising Currently, I don't see a way to edit the collision matrix of the object in Nifskope. I made some small changes to the object (changing the material and texture of part of it) and saved it in Nifskope, but when loading it in-game there's absolutely no collision on it at all? Can someone help me out, or maybe - point me in the right direction? Thanks!
dylbill
The easiest way to get collision I've found is to use one from another nif. Open another nif that's similar in size and shape to your static nif, delete its NiTriShape branches but leave the collision branch. Copy all of your NiTriShape branches from the static and Paste Branch into the nif with collision then save as a new nif. Hope that helps.

I'll try that, but Nifskope is weird; seems even after 5 years no one knows how to decode the Fallout 4 .nif format yet... I don't really see the collision itself; rather it shows up as 'Binary collision data'... Edit: I got it! Thank you so much, man!
