Convenient horse appears in nexus mod management console but won't

Hello,

 

I am not really good with computers and a beginner with mods. My problem is
a bit complicated (or maybe not, who knows ^^) so I will try to put it in
simple terms.

 

Before I got Dawnguard, I downloader the mod "convenient horses"
and "convenient horse herding", which of course did not work. So I
got Dawnguard, and tried to run both mods (listed down is what happened for
each).

 

- For convenient horses:

I could finally see the "convenient horse power" in my power tap
(+ the possibility to buy the horn), but I wasn't able to access its
configuration (I did download SKSE too, and it is the latest version). Also, I
had a French version of this mod (my game is in English), so I had both
languages in talks.

 

As a consequence, I decided to uninstall this French mod (I used " ²
" to access the command, wrote "StopQuest CH" in it, pressed
"enter" and " ² " again to close the command window. Then I
saved the game, quitted and I suppressed both files from my Skyrim/Data folder).
I downloader the English mod from this site, tried to install it again but it
wouldn't work. So I uninstalled it again, re-downloaded the previous French
mod, and it still didn't work. So I installed nexus mod management, for the
same result (but I should precise that this mod normally appears within it as a
plug-in).

 

Finally, I uninstalled and suppressed the French mod (again...), and downloaded
the English version from this site again, but using nexus mod manager this
time. Since I could not find my new download anywhere (I did eventually, but
later), I re-downloaded the French version and installed it (and it is still
installed). Again, it did not work but appeared in the nexus mod manager as a plug-in).
However, I just found my previous English download (the one I could not find
before), and I really don't know what to do anymore... Any help would greatly
be appreciated :)

I should also probably say that I made sure I had the 4.6 version (updated
from nexus mod manager during the process) as I also got Dragonborn now...

- For convenient horse herding:

When the game loaded, it advised me that this mod version was too old to
work, so I uninstalled it (as previously except that I typed "StopQuest
CHHerding") but did not suppress the files (this version is the one from this
website) and installed them again. As for convenient horse mod, it will appear
within nexus mod as a plug-in (I wasn't able to check its version, but as I
said, it is the same one) but won't appear in the game.
