sdjknights Posted November 15, 2020 Share Posted November 15, 2020 I'm making a mod that allows the player to ride a bunch of creatures. I've done this by adding a "saddlebone" to the skeletons, letting these overwrite the vanilla skeletons and then editing the races to have the keyword "actortypehorse". This worked fine for the first two that I did (cow and goat), but when I did the rest of them, I got a CTD every time I loaded up a save or started a new game. I decided to "quarantine" all but the cow and goat skeletons and, joy of joys, the game loads up without issue. Unfortunately, now the "Press E to Ride" prompt doesn't come up when I hover over a cow or a goat, despite their skeletons still being in the correct place and the .esp not being changed. I've also tried loading the .esp and the meshes separately. It's fine when I load the .esp without the meshes but it crashes when I load the meshes without the .esp.
