Robinsage
Good day all, I haven't found a way to make a script purge the players cell buffers but wanted to check here to see if it has/can be done. Is this function console only? Preferably I'd like to make a button or something the player could select for the purge. Thanks
ripple
PCB has been known to break running scripts and scripted 'scenes.' It's why an early Skyrim conversion from Oblivion's 'auto-PCB mod' has since been removed by its author. Unless you have low RAM or tampered with ini settings like 'ugridstoload' or memory tweaks, you shouldn't have to use PCB at all. If PCB is necessary (for people with low end machines who need to tweak the ini just to sustain playable framerates), it's best to do it manually, or via an external utility like 'AutoHotKey' (so you can set up a hotkey script to pull up the console and output PCB with a hotkey or combination keys, which is what you seem to be looking for). It's probably not a good idea to add yet another script to the game itself that is, for the most part, unnecessary and potentially harmful, given the the sort of damage that can be done to save games with orphan papyrus scripts.
