vaal1
So this bug might be hard to explain to anyone that's never seen it but under normal circumstances if you hold your shield up and walk/run in any direction the shield always faces forward. Now when "badly worked mods" are done messing your game up while moving strafe(=sideways) left the shield faces left too. Here is a video of that in action (I'd prob recommend keeping it on mute and skip the first 30 secs if u re in a hurry) About two week of scouring the net for a solution and i haven got much:Of course I removed all mods & files off my directory - that didnt fix itSome people said its due to the updated skeleton file from dragonborn that does that, extract it with bsa.... I extracted most of the files in character/animations & /behavior - no changeOther posts suggested to use FNIS and its "arm fix" tried it - no result (note: i had never used FNIS before the bug occurred)Then someone mentioned a couple of mods might help: "XP32 skeleton replacer" -tried & failed Then "Custom skeleton replacers" mod which i couldn't make sense of but i doubt it ll help me (note: I havent used any sexually outlandish mods like animated prostitution or big bouncy breast or hot and steamy jug or whatever... I only use UNP body)I did have mods installed at one time or another that messed with animations & skeleton files etcNamely: Pretty combat Idles/ Running with bow anim./ Realistic ragdoll force (hopefully Im not forgetting any) What i fear most of course is that my save file got corrupted and its doomed (Im lvl 56 so not unlikely) but what i dont understand is if thats the case why such a random and menial reaction to that? has it got to do with a script inside it? can it be traced? Then which file controls that movement? is it "shd_turnleft60.hkx" or a 1handed one in meshes\actors\character\animations ? or something completely unrelated? can i edit it? can i make a new one? Well I think I asked enough questions for now :confused:Anyway thanks for listening to my ramblings any help or advice will be greatly appreciated Edited March 4, 2013 by vaal1
