[mod request] View Map while Driving the Cyclops

Hello! I am hoping the Subnautica modders check this forum (admins feel free to move this if I have it in the wrong spot). I'm not sure why this doesn't exist or maybe "I'm doing it wrong". I'd like a simple mod to open the map while driving the Cyclops. I can't understand why this doesn't already exist, unless, again, I'm doing it wrong. thanks! :)

Also adding that I'd love to be able to do this as well.

 

Possibly also a subfeature to hide the giant driving stick (steering wheel) so I can see forward and below me..)
