Tranquillus
EDIT: that is to say, increased walking speed. Brain fart. For my latest playthrough, I wanted to start roleplaying more, and one of the things I wanted to do was walk, not run, where walking for make more sense (i.e. outside combat). But the walking speed is infuriatingly slow - like a casual saunter, when what I have in mind is more a purposeful walk. My question is, how would I go about modding in increased walking speed, if it's possible at all? I'm looking at increasing it..... 50%? Or thereabouts. I've looked and there doesn't seem to be any mod that does this (I assume any such mod would be filed under 'Animation'). prensa
Tranquillus - Hello! You can increase walking speed by changing the Game Setting: fMoveBaseSpeed More info here: http://geck.bethsoft.com/index.php/Movement_Settings That setting is found in GECK from the pull down at the top - Gameplay - Settings & paste the above mentioned setting into the Filter box to jump to it. But I think that also affects the running speed to, I don't think there's a straightforward way to change only walking. At least as far as I know. Possibly through scripting? There's a mod here that changes that setting I mention, you can peak at that to see what I mean: http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/17090 There's also the Sprint mod that allows bursts of running, not quite what you were talking about but of possible interest to you: http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/1854 Hope this helps! Tranquillus
Thanks very much for your help! I guess I'll have to see how fast it is to see if the fast running is a problem. The sprint mod is also interesting, will check that out. :]
ZippyDSMlee
Press cap lock and you walk not run and yes normal speed is run. ALso get FWE it has a sprint thing in it where you run fast based on AP. Other than that...soemone tell me how to add a prek to a consumeable item? Speed and base energy weaopn damage I'd like to up via perks.
