Cankiie
Hello out there. So as it stands, food is kinda boring... and as far as I am concerned, so are many of the mods that have been made to make food more interesting. So I have started messing around a little bit, but is largely confused and unsure of how to proceed. I do have an idea, on how to make food more interesting and more tempting to use, without turning Skyrim into a survival simulator. There are plenty of mods that make sleep more desireable, what I really lack here is a mod that spawns very strong enemies during the nights. Anywho, food and potions. My idea was to remove most of the fortify effects from potions. Fortify-one-handed, two-handed, heavy armor, all that jazz. All of that exceptin' the fortify alchemy, smithing, etc effects. Potions should be for health, magicka and stamina restoration and regeneration, and then the fortify crafting skills. Poisons should remain as is. Instead of potions providing the fortify one-handed, two-handed, etc skills, I want food to do that part instead, and have the buffs last for four hours (in game time) Of course, personally I would combine this with other mods that removes food from a lot of containers, make harvests valueable and thus a crime to steal, a mod like hunterborn to lessen the amount of food I get from them. Anyway, I am not exactly sure how to go on about making this a reality. Is it just doing an SSEedit? Do I need to learn how to use the creation kit?
