ZeonicGlory
Well, I got the computer and installed FO3. After installing it, I ran it and was satisfied when I got to the boy or girl selection thing in the beginning. Seeing that, I closed out of FO3 and turned off the computer. This was 2 nights ago. Last night, I installed some mods for when I play tonight. After trying to run just vanilla FO3, I got a program not responding error and cannot even make it to the main screen. I've tried with the FO3 launcher (because the FOMM is blocked due to request of the creator or something so I can't DL it), using multiple different ways like trying no mods, 1 mod, 2 mods, etc. Can anyone help out someone with really bad luck with computers. Edit: Nevermind, the problem was due to me making some folders in the FO3 Data and moving the texture.bsa and whatnot into them. It's fixed now. ZeonicGlory
Well, I recently found out that pressing Prt Scr takes screenshots, but I cannot for the life of me find them. Is it in a specific folder, or have they gone the way of the dodo bird?
Smosh
Well, I recently found out that pressing Prt Scr takes screenshots, but I cannot for the life of me find them. Is it in a specific folder, or have they gone the way of the dodo bird? Mine are all saved as bmp files in the default Fallout 3 directory. You would have thought they'd be in some sort of screenshot directory?
ZeonicGlory
I don't seem to see them in the Fallout 3 directory.
Smosh
I don't seem to see them in the Fallout 3 directory. don't know if this helps or not re VISTA (found online). I use XP "Eventually i managed to find out what was wrong though, the folder was Read only and although i'd tried to change that a couple times it hadn't kept the changes because i'd not gone through the right hoops for Vistas super security. For people with the same prob......Right Click the folderPropertiesSecurityEditMake sure to select your user name from the listThen tick Write " So in a nutshell you need to make sure you Fallout folder isn't read only. If you're not sure just Google Fallout 3 vista screenshots.
Smosh
So, did that work for you?
ZeonicGlory
I tried that and it didn't seem to work. I think I heard somewhere that you could edit a line in the Fallout.ini to specify where to put your screenshots. If so, doe you happen to know the code to put it in Pictures?
