Judess69er
Just a quick explanation of what both are for, i was under the impression manaConsumption was how much mana the spell consumed on use and manaWaste was how much mana the spell burns through the longer its sustainedbut after tweaking a bunch of the json files iv started to notice that the spells don't seem to work as i imagined in my tweaking
Judess69er
ok so after a few days of experimenting apparently they were exactly what i thought they were but where i was running into problems was that if manaWaste's value is below 11 it wont drain mana anymore and it its below 10 the spell will actually start to regenerate your mana Edited November 24, 2020 by Judess69er
Judess69er
i also figured out a method of making merge spells actually drain mana over time its a little jankey so be warned... first you have to set the cast speed to 0.1 then you set the mana consumption to 210.00 as a baseline usually it will be just enough to consume 80-90% of the mana and lastly set the MinCharge to where you want the spell to start 0.5 will start it halfway through the cast 0.25 a quarter through and so onyou can adjust the time it takes the bar to deplete by lowering the cast speed but you'll also need to raise the mana consumption by the same multiple you lowered the cast speed by so if you lower it to 0.05 you'd raise the mana consumption to 420.00, the bar will deplete slightly slower but you'll also have to adjust the MinCharge to a lower value or the spell will continue to fire half way through regardless.
