Aredel
Hello there,Just an idea for a modders recource perhaps, I'm sure there's other people out there thinking of this and it's possibilities. (I myself am better at making things fly with the power of my mind, then acctualy mod anything. In other words, I'm useless when it comes to modding and that's why I don't do it myself)The realm of Apocrypha in the dragonborn DLC uses a lot of new meshes and models, which I think could be retextured into many other and diffrent functions then their dark and slimy place of origin. The shapes of the meshes make them perfectly usable as new Ayleid ruins for example, or the flying pages could make exelent additions to magical structures( if retextured). Of course this will probably be some work, I'm not familiar with making textures so I can't realy say how much work it would be, but I'm guessing it'd be 'a lot'.But if there's people out there, that like making new textures and feel like adding original and new aspects to the game, perhaps even willing to make new world spaces/player homes what ever you prefer. Try visiting Apocrypha for a while, thinking of it a a blank canvas instead of dungeon. wJust to look at the structures, effects and shapes, and see them in a diffrent way, see them as what you think they might become :wink:I hope this inspires some people to make things that suprises the community, wether it results in unique elven buildings, some new wizard's tower or even another plane of Oblivion. I just think that the new meshes in the Dragonborn DLC have a lot of potential to be remade in new thing. If you feel inspired, good luck, and thanks  Edited March 4, 2013 by Aredel
AlienSensei
This is a great idea. I hope to see this as a modders resource as a matter of fact I was thinking about making some elven ruins :)
Aredel
Call it lazy or made in haste, it's a bit of both... But here's a bad example of what I mean, it's supposed to be one of the arches in Apocrypha:http://i728.photobucket.com/albums/ww289/JordyDees/Nexus/DSC_0241.jpg If I find time and the state of mind to do so, I might collect and /or make some screenshots of Apocrypha, perhaps, somewhere in the furure.Would I do so then I'd know what shapes I should be making designs for, if I'd continue working on this, instead of making random improviations on sheer what I think to remember. (And no, usualy I wouldn't post such daft halfworked poor excuses of drawings, I am supposed to only reveal or publish proper work. But hey this is for a 'hobby'/addiction, so why not.) Tzontlimixtli
My first impression of Apocrypha's architecture was "They're giving us assets to make Ayleid ruins with". xDI'd love to see this go somewhere.

Dragonborn was a DLC which was more of giving us modders great resources, as for Dawnguard wasn't.
