HWalker
Name: CalandraRace: High ElfAge: 285Favoured Weapon: Magic, known to use a bow too.Favoured School: Mysticism (She LOVES telekineses. Thinks it's a blast) Calandra was born into a family of great wealth, but for all their money, they had not wisdom. They wasted their money on clothes and trinkets they only wore/used once and never saw again. Calandra hated this. She believed, as a High Elvish Princess, she was brought into this world for a higher purpose, and sought to find that purpose. She remembers the very day she left home, delving deep into the wilderness. To this day, lying in bed, she recites the day and time she left in her head, calculating how many years, months, weeks, days, hours, minutes, even seconds it's been since she left home. That was one of Calandra's greatest joys in life: Maths. She'd study it day after day, she'd put math to everything she could, she'd calculate the odds she'd survive in certain situations, should they arrive. Her love of math led to the study of magic. She enrolled in a school based in Skyrim on the border to Cyrodiil, one that studied sufficient use of Conjuration and Alteration. The day she enrolled was Morndas, 3rd Hearthfire 3E154. There was one thing the school information scroll didn't say, and she heard it at a meeting with the headmaster: "Necromancy will also be studied thoroughly during your time here. If you tell those dogs at the Guild of Mage's about this, our Lord Mannimarco will hunt you down and tear you apart!" From then on, she had no choice but to embrace it. Years in that school studying Necromancy and the art of reanimation poisoned her mind. She'd go into the wilderness, hunting bandits to practice on, and make their corpses dance and jump off cliff edges. Needless to say, the higher purpose she was meant for, had all but disappeared. It was 5 years to that very day, she lay asleep (a rare event) on a cold slab in her study area, she was awoken by an icy rush of wind. Now her study area was spacey, but this was different..... She felt a presence in the wind. Strength, intellect, cunning.... Calandra began picking out the properties of the presence, and after picking out "evil" she got a shock. Mannimarco was the presence. Materializing from the mist, he began to speak: "FOLLOWER OF YOUR LORD MANNIMARCO, FELLOW HIGH ELF! I HAVE TRAVELLED HERE TODAY FOR I HEAR TALK OF A TRAITOR IN OUR RANKS! I HAVE BEEN QUESTIONING ALL HIGH-RANKING FOLLOWERS ON THEIR KNOWLEDGE OF LOCAL STUDY HALLS AND MAGE'S GUILD RATS!" His voice then quietened, but it was far more sinister: "From what I've heard, YOU are a Mage's Guild spy, and you have been feeding them information by letter and courier on our whereabouts. This will NOT BE TOLERATED! I've sent word to all loyal Necromancers of your identity, and have ordered them to kill you on sight. They will not have the pleasure of doing this now, though. Your carcass now belongs to me. Do not worry, we will put it to good use." With that, he fired a shock bolt at her, and as the electricity touched her abdomen, she was blown through the wall of her tiny quarters, and she fell from the 20 stories that was the enchanted tower she'd been taking refuge in since she'd graduated from school. Her eyes darkened, and she wanted nothing else but death now. Who had done this to her? She'd been nothing but loyal to Mannimarco since she'd started studying Necromancy! But that all changed this fateful day. They'd pay for their treachury and lies. She was alone now. A year on, she'd turned clean, thrown away any scrolls and potions related to the sickening practise, and joined the Mage's Guild. After all, she may have been loyal to Mannimarco, but she still had nothing against the Guild. Moving to Cyrodiil, after being tired of freezing her ass off in Skyrim, she moved to Cyrodiil. The Arcane University appealed so much to her, she couldn't resist it. She quickly recieved recommendations from all the guild halls and walked into the Arcane University with a genuine smile on her face. (ALSO a rare event) She is currently at the rank of Wizard in the university and studies hard in the forces of Light and the Nine. She now has a resounding hate for Necromancy and feels Traven was right to ban it's study in public. She believes that she has now reached her higher purpose and aims to return home to see her family again. She also raids known hideouts and destroys all Necromancers there. Doing this has left her with a few burns and scars, but she knows it has made Cyrodiil safer overall. The less of these scum the better. That's it, I'm REALLY sorry it's not accurate at all according to Lore, but I enjoyed writing it =P
